About Us

An enzyme exfoliant that works without grit and without rubbing: five to ten minutes on cleansed skin, one to three times a week. The brand names Hydrolyzed Yeast (Enzymes), Squalane, Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Vitamin C. 50 ml.

Exfoliation without the scrub

An enzyme peel does not sand anything down. It sits on the skin for five to ten minutes, loosens dead cells at the surface, and is then massaged off and rinsed away. One to three times a week — the manufacturer asks for no more than that.

01

Enzymes from hydrolyzed yeast

Hydrolyzed Yeast (Enzymes) is the first entry on the brand’s own ingredient list. Which enzymes exactly, and at what strength, the brand does not state — so neither do we. Papain and bromelain are named nowhere.

02

What else is in the formula

Besides the enzymes the brand names four things: Squalane, Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Vitamin C. Squalane is a lipid closely related to the skin’s own, shea butter is a plant butter, and the two vitamins are antioxidants. A full INCI list for this product is not published.

03

Five to ten minutes, one to three times a week

An even layer on cleansed skin, keeping clear of the eye area. Let it work, then massage gently to lift the loosened residue and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. That is the entire application, exactly as the brand describes it.

04

Where it sits in the routine

After cleansing, before the toner. Then the usual care continues: toner and moisturiser. 50 ml in a flip-cap tube.

Gentle Enzym Peel is an enzyme exfoliant. Instead of grit or friction it uses enzymes to loosen the dead cells that sit on the surface of the skin — the brand describes the exfoliation as gentle and non-abrasive. The tube holds 50 ml, one application takes five to ten minutes, and the manufacturer asks for it one to three times a week, no more than that.

The brand names five key ingredients and no others: Hydrolyzed Yeast (Enzymes), Squalane, Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Vitamin C. The hydrolyzed yeast is the exfoliating part; which enzymes it holds, and at what concentration, is not stated anywhere — so papain, bromelain and every other named enzyme stay out of this description. Squalane is a lipid closely related to the skin’s own, shea butter is a plant butter, and the two vitamins are antioxidants. A full INCI list for this product is not published, which is why we make no claim about what else the formula does or does not contain — including whether it contains acids.

Use it on cleansed skin: an even layer across the face, keeping clear of the eye area. Leave the peel on for five to ten minutes, then massage the skin gently to lift the loosened residue and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with toner and moisturiser. In the brand’s own routine the peel belongs to the cleansing step — after cleansing, before the toner.

What an enzyme face peel does is surface work: dead cells go, texture reads smoother, the complexion looks less dull and feels soft. What it does not do is stand in for an acid treatment — pigment marks, scars and deeper unevenness are outside its range, and a single application shows little. The manufacturer lists this peel for combination, normal, oily, acne-prone and mature skin. Sensitive and dry skin are not on that list; if that is your skin, test a small area first.

Good to know

How often, and for how long?
One to three times a week, five to ten minutes each time — that is the manufacturer’s instruction. Apply to cleansed skin, keep clear of the eye area, then massage gently and rinse with lukewarm water. Using it more often does not make a peel work better.
What happens on the skin?
The peel rests for a few minutes and loosens dead cells at the surface, which are then washed away. Nothing is sanded or rubbed off — the brand describes the exfoliation explicitly as non-abrasive.
Does it replace an acid peel?
No. An enzyme peel works on the top layer of dead cells. Pigment marks, scars and deeper unevenness are not addressed by it, and a single application shows little. And we are not claiming the formula is acid-free: the manufacturer publishes no full INCI list for this product — the only ingredients named are Hydrolyzed Yeast (Enzymes), Squalane, Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Vitamin C.
Which skin is it meant for — and when to leave it alone?
The manufacturer lists five skin types: combination, normal, oily, acne-prone and mature skin. Sensitive and dry skin are not on that list — if that is your skin, test a small area first. Not on broken, abraded or acutely irritated skin, and not around the eyes. Stop if redness persists; this is not a treatment for skin conditions.

The 5-step system

Your Daily Ritual

  1. 01

    Cleanse

Dissolve the day gently. Our pH-conscious cleansers lift away residue without stripping your skin barrier.

  2. 02

    Tone

Settle the surface and open pathways for what comes next. A moment of reset between cleansing and treatment.

  3. 03

    Treat

Concentrated serums that address what your skin actually needs — whether that is texture, tone, or resilience.

  4. 04

    Moisturize

Seal in every active layer with a skin barrier repair cream for face that holds moisture through the entire day.

  5. 05

    Protect

Finish with broad-spectrum SPF. The step most often skipped, and the one that matters most.

What they say

I've tried every skincare brand out there, from high-end luxury lines to mass-market staples. But nothing has impressed me quite like Real Skin. My skin felt smoother, more hydrated, and noticeably brighter. The ingredients are top-notch, and the results speak for themselves.
